Middle East Project

Each group will have the following nations:

Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria

Research the individual countries under the following topic ideas;

Size of land area

Size of water area

Terrain type

Natural resources

Land use

Ethnic groups

Population pyramid (focus on old vs young)

Drinking water sources

Unemployment

Budget (revenues & expenditures)

Exports

Imports

Transportation issues

Religion make up of country

Focus of the project is to get the FIVE members of each group to come to a common solution to the land & water divisions in the Middle East.  You will be presenting your idea to the rest of the class, be detailed in WHO gets WHAT.  Grid co-ordinates or physical land features should be used (described) in your solutions.
